Plenty of other international hits, including 2 UK top tens in 1976 with Suspicion and The Girl of My Best Friend.
Imagine RCA releasing old records in 1976. What would they want to do that for?

(Please, that's not really a question!)

Dear oh dear oh dear.

That clown should've be locked up with the key thrown away.

Yes. Not to mention the re-issue singles (some of which re charted in 1977) and Don't Be Cruel in 1978. Earlier though, and soon after "the deal" Elvis became a pioneer again, this time in the field of TV advertised licenced albums. RCA sure pulled that rabbit out of the Colonels cap and knew exactly what they were doing with their media insight and, must have been rubbing their corporate hands together when huge sales resulted.

Yeah , What a stroke of genius Lets's sell the back catalog on one of the biggest stars ever during a 50's nostalgic revival for peanuts!! I get Elvis had financial problems at the moment but that's where a good manager and a real financial adviser could have come in handy and worked out a deal. Not to mention an accountant to to do his taxes right and save him a ton of money.. Like we all have said Parker good in the 50's and early 60's, But by 64 or 65 time to go..
