A quite tired and weighty looking Lisa-Marie was spotted in NYC last week. Sad to say that it appears the years are catching up on her. Best of luck to her, I hope things start improving...

That's the press unfortunately. To be honest though, in some of those pics in the link I posted she really does look like late-period Elvis. Such a shame that the trajectory of her life seems to be similar. It doesn't seem so long since she released her first album and she was absolutely stunning at that time. Have to say, I haven't deeply researched her music but I have liked what I've heard.

That's her third album and generally considered to be her best. I listened to a couple of tracks last night and was impressed. Having said that, she does have a great team around her, T-bone Burnette, etc. She's quite good lyrically.

Personally I think Lisa inherited some of her genes from Gladys, via Elvis of course.
It's sad that she can't seem to settle some of her demons.

Funny, what make up does with somebody.
On this cover she don't look like herself.
The smoldering elvis look in her eyes is missing.

She looks,although thin, like a much older country singer on that cover shot.
