Release late next month so july is more likely :)

I don't know why they don't package these things ready for shipping, and then announce it a couple of weeks in advance.

Agree, best is to know about a release just a few weeks before release date.
I think it was recent On Tour that was announced 4-5 months before actual release date and that is something I dislike.
Its a small thing in the big picture but the waiting can be hard sometimes :)

I think ‘maybe’ they gauge the manufacture of physical product on feedback of preorders from their dealers.
It’s a cost saving exercise.
I don’t know, but it’s possible.

We don't even need just a few weeks, a couple of weeks at most would do.

I'm sure back in the very old days you sometimes didn't find out about a release till the week of the release.

'Maybe' they do, but I wonder what the difference is in numbers.

OK, maybe "Elvis sings the same old crap in some unheard of town in the back of beyond on a Friday night in 1975 running at the wrong speed in mono" probably won't sell as many as the Guitar Man sessions, but surely they know this.

They clearly have guaranteed numbers for soundboards from past sales evidence.
Not my thing but to each their own.

Probably is.

We already had it, for example on 2013 Stay Away, Joe CD [FTD 118].

There are loads of unreleased takes on this new release - a must have for collectors !

Can't wait !

I think I´ve said it before, why the bootleggers keep releasing cds & records almost every two week and FTD can´t keep up with their releases dates....., strange!.

Tomorrow is a long time release comes close to an album. Posthumous anyway. Always loved that release.
Glad to see these tunes get a sessions set.
