When can we expect some FTD news?

I want some more studio sessions, not this soundboard rubbish, nor vinyl. However, even when they announce it, we still have to wait weeks, maybe months, or even years (well, maybe I exaggerate a bit).

Personally, I'd sooner they announce it a week before it gets released. That way we can avoid all the nonsense that goes on before the thing finally crawls out.

ED209, my guess is...since the last few releases were soundboards and vinyl, it will be a soundtrack sessions set.

I know this will never happen, but I wish there was an official, well-done compilation of all the Aaron Schroeder songs Elvis recorded. It's a very cool bunch of tracks.

I am OK with a break in the releases for a while. JMO, but there is too much FTD product coming out too fast and it has been like this for years.
(I am, however, looking forward to the completion of the The Last Tours sets and will buy them all for sure. )

I'd sooner they just gave us all the remaining sessions in one big box, although of course they may not have everything, but having said that, there is still a mountain of the stuff.

I used to think that way, but urgency is my word of the moment because of age.

I won't live long enough for them to put everything out. So, the more the better, so at least I have a chance to hear it.

If they put out too much, at least I can pick and choose what releases are essential to me.

Right now, soundbaords are a dime a dozen. Too many of them to keep up.

Sessions sets are what I am after now.

but I would still like an occasional "discovery" of something rare.

And I am still hoping, but not holding my breath for something spectacular concerning , That's the way it is.

Harem Holiday, Paradise Hawaiian Style and Frankie & Johnny. That should be the next lot to get the sessions treatment.
