I see a Facebook page that reports on new Elvis releases and it seems there is a new bootleg every day. Some are LP's, some are CD's, some are a combination of LP's + CD. Almost none of them feature anything new.
So I only mention releases here if there could be something new (mainly a remix or alternate mix) on it.
Usually an asterix means previously unreleased title.

Unreleased, I imagine, as Yin Yang has suggested. I've only looked up Padre and that one, according to Keith Flynn, has not been out before.

It is still incorrectly listed on the bootleg - it's actually Take 10

This is about their first release, but it is a warning.
Companies always offer their best product first to lure fans in, so if Vol1 was the best that they could do for their very first release then we can only state BUYER BEWARE for all future volumes.

Volume 1 EIN detailed Review 'The Joan Deary Tapes Vol1' - and has Ernst won the bootleg war?’

EHMHM magazine only arrived at my house yesterday - they similarly noted... '"a cynical money grab that can safely be avoided."

What really annoyed me - apart from there being such little new content - was that the audio quality was terrible.
Mastered so loud that it has major peak clipping distortion.
Their version of Young And Beautiful (On Tour Rehearsal) was so clipped compared to the SONY / RCA version that surely any Elvis collector would already own - but this version sounds terrible.
see below.. Left the SONY /RCA recent release, right the badly clipping 'JD.Inc' version.

Just like Madison's 'A Legendary Performer Vol. 9’ - this is a shocker.

The word required currently is ‘brick walling’ it boosts volume levels at the expense of fidelity.
A poor amateur job, and as per ETMAHM purely a cash grab that can be avoided.
Nolan is here, with the truth!

Agreed.
I wasn't sure people would get the 'brick walling' description - and indeed some people who have written back to me haven't noticed the distortion.
(They are lucky, I guess :D ).
But it is a real shoddy piece of work.
Cheers

The saddest thing is that as long as there are enough people buying the "Get rich quick" people keep releasing them.

I wouldn't buy anything just for a snippet of Padre.

I wouldn't buy anything for a complete take of Padre, if that was the only attraction on there.

Of course is the latest audience recording on “Elvis Meets Liberace” a real treasure that we have been waiting for.

The ongoing negative talk on The Joan Deary Tapes and/or FTD releases, is the world upside down. If you have no interest, leave it. There are still coming audience recorded concerts in the future. Pick what you like, but stop crying like a baby over a €20 cd.

How dare they to release as The Joan Deary Tapes. As if a crime is committed. Get over it. We’re talking a €20 cd. At least its listenable. Have fun with the Liberace cd.

I have purchased it just for track 11 - "Love Song Of The Year" - different mix with prominent violins.

It's a wobbly version - nothing special IMO

Ah yes, a mite wobbly. Thank you for that. I haven't heard the song in a long time, but I'm beginning to like it a bit.

"Got no sleigh with reindeer, no sack on my back...", but since it is so close to "this time of year", here's the link for two volumes of Joan Deary Tapes: https://we.tl/t-NRoRcGoCjc
Have a happy Christmas, gang! ;-)
