Also very good editing at the point of 32:14 - Las Vegas rehearsal version , 4 Aug, 1970. Another thing is its uusual to hear Elvis voice on one channel, in 1970.

Just found and played the only live version (12 August 1970 Dinner Show). It's at the point of 42:40. Remarkable editing and synching.

Very good question. The answer is I Don't Know. It would've been on the Sony multidisc and DVD on TTWII, from 5 years ago I would've thought.

Where does that unusual 4 August 1970 rehearsal version, where Elvis voice is on one channel, come from ? I mentioned it earlier in the topic.

From my notes:

Twenty Days & Twenty Nights - 4-8-70 - Rehearsal.JPG

The rehearsal from this date is on the early FTD CD but it's in regular stereo.

He struggles with the lyrics & the arrangement somewhat, even though he'd nailed the studio master in 9 takes two months previously !

Fascinating to hear how he slowly develops his interpretation bit-by-bit...
