Thanks for the clip !

But 'Forth Worth' ?

He was on a train heading for LA on this date, to start filming King Creole.

Would that have taken him through there ?

It says below the video:
Elvis Presley kissing Mary Savage during the train’s layover in Fort Worth, January 11, 1958.
Elvis was en route from Memphis to Hollywood.
Elvis kissed 13 year-old Mary Savage of Oklahoma City.
A polio victim, Mary said Elvis had helped her endure the long road to recovery.

Right, thanks !

My knowledge of US geography is scant !

Didn't imagine a train journey from Memphis to Los Angeles would have involved going through Fort Worth, Texas !

But obviously it did...

Very cool clip. Thanks, PP.

The second part is new to me, I believe, but we had an interesting long thread on the first part almost four years ago :

New footage, very short....
