Clambake

Postby Colin B » Sat Feb 04, 2017 8:30 am

Clambake:

This always amuses me:

During the Confidence scene, the little girl, at centre, is in the wrong place, at the wrong time:

As Elvis makes a move to get the ball, the poor girl gets bashed in the face:

I suppose she can tell her children that she was physically abused by Elvis !

I imagine that Elvis would have apologised profusely, and she would have loved the attention from him.

Looking at this clip, I wouldn't say the girl got "bashed" in the face.

Looking at the clip, he just brushes past her, it looks worse than it was, it probably didnt even register with him. :)

It certainly looks like there was contact but it may not have been hard.

Well, alright, maybe 'bashed' was too strong a word to use, I couldn't think of another one as I typed !

Maybe 'knocked' would suit better.

Whatever you call it, it wasn't in the script !

Keep an eye on the guy on the right, wearing white, yellow and red striped shirt and shorts. He is so athletic that he can move from the ground to the roof (0:26) in an instant, and on the 0:48 sec he is on the ground, then the next second he is back on the roof.etc. Amazing!!!

Yes, screen grabs were posted over on the old TMMB by me of this. He was all over the place.
