Posting of tif/tiff files
The newer (3.1-3.3) versions of PHPBB have issues displaying tif and tiff files "inline". They cannot be seen within the post as is the case with jpg files. They will appear as "Downloadable files" instead of "images". That way visitors are presented with a link when the file is placed inline.
