Give a warm welcome to..... Alan

Postby Graeme » Mon Dec 11, 2017 10:03 am

Well, when he arrives, he's waiting for his confirmation mail. Alan is my neighbour, he has come round this morning to help me tie up some loose ends.
He is a big Elvis fan. I've helped him set up his account here on Phoenix this morning. I've told him that this is the best place to pool Elvis stuff.
We have been looking into a strange release that began in 1958 and continued through the years yet never seemed to have sold enough to chart.
I'll let Alan kick that one off and I wont steal too much of his thunder.

Alan, you need to come here and click reply and then say hello to the good folks, tell them a bit about you, you can lie and tell them how handsome you are if you want, and then click submit, yeah?

I'm currently sitting here with Graeme at the moment.
He says to pay absolutely no attention to ColinB.
Well that didn't last long, I just responded to him Graeme. I'm not sure I've got the hang of this just yet.

Oh, all new members are given that advice !

And the old ones do it without being asked...

Please don't get us too confused.
I've spent that last few days with Graeme and his wife.
It's been a wonderful time and a sad time. If you knew Graemes sense of humour you'd understand how much harder it makes it.
Graeme asks if there's anything ground breaking going on all the time, but with a smile. He liked the info on the single RCA1088 , thank you to Tony S, I guess he's hoping for the Pied Piper or similar that may have come to light, which is daft but at the same time understandable.
I find this message board very open and easy going, but I admit to being prompted by Graeme to see "what's new".. I hope the incentive stays but I do have other interests.
I came around this morning, it was hard. That's all I can say for now. Graemes wife is probably tougher than he is. I wanted to elaborate more before but didn't want it read but I will in time. Thanks again.

Thank you Alan. I'd say he's got a good friend in you and is fortunate to have your support at this very difficult time. I'm sure his wife appreciates your support too. Thinking of you all.
