A general question.

Mister Moon shared a photo of Sydney airport in the 1960's.

How were airports back then with regard to security in other countries and access to the planes?

I remember my grandparents leaving for overseas in the 1970's, the family said good-bye to them behind a chain wire fence, after watching them, on the ground, walk to the plane.

Was it the same in other countries, one would walk over the tarmac, family giving well wishes, not too far away, behind a fence?

Thanks colin, No I have never bought one. They are always little old ladies and men who come around trying to convert you, These two could hardley walk... Very passionate about their views.

Goodness, in Australia, we mainly had the Mormons visit, who were young friendly well dressed guys.

Now, with my land with a very long driveway that is uphill, I do not receive any indiscriminate door knockers.

Do you get many non Elvis fans join the site, John or Colin? The context is Facebook, the Nigerians (I know they are Nigerian as they do not always set their Friends list to private) are always trying to edge their way in to scam people with different schemes.

We've had a few people join whose ulterior motive soon became apparent.

Facebook is becoming fiddly, with strangers from the less fortunate countries trying to scam others.
