National Fish & Chip Day 1 June 2018

Postby WalterHaleJnr » Fri Jun 01, 2018 6:59 am

I note it's Fish and Chips day over in the UK on 1 June.

Guess what ? I will indulge, regardless of whether this applies to Australia or not, as it's the sort of meal that goes down very well on a cold winters night (ie today is officially the start of winter here).

Here's a look of my meal:

Nay, not for me. My choice of fish is smoked salmon, and that doesn't go with chips. Enjoy yours though.

Xmas in the middle of the sweltering heat of an OZ summer ?

If that isn't 'odd' I don't know what is !

On a real cold winters night with my portable heaters on I just had another fish and chip meal, New Zealand Hoki this time. Am having an Elvis cuppa right now and shortly the searcher part 2 will be on the plasma tv. I'll watch and be thinking of all of you guys and ladies. Cheers Phoenix friends,
