We need Jeremy Corbyn !

What he lacks in 'charisma' he makes up for in honesty, forthrightness & basic decency...
John wrote:Would you like to reiterate that Colin?

He certainly isn't charismatic, he is dishonest, he's severely lacking in decency.
In fact the only decent thing he can do now is disappear out of our lives never to be heard of again.

You've just agreed with me on the 'charisma' front !

The rest of your reply is a better fit for Boris Johnson !

Yes, I did agree with you on the charisma front, which is why I said he certainly isn’t charismatic. Johnson certainly hasn’t covered himself in glory over the years, and I don’t fully trust him, but I trust him far more than I do Corbyn.

Anyway, I’m off to sleep now, happy and far more optimistic about the future.

You stayed up a bit longer than me...I went at 11.55. :D

Yeah, but you didn't wash your cocoa cup up, just left it on the worktop....

As soon as the exit poll result was announced at 10:00, there didn't seem much point in hanging around any longer...

Happy Birthday NICOLE KIDMAN. an Australian actress, philanthropist and producer. She turns 53 today.

You don't have to be naked to be sexy.

When you relinquish desire to control your future, you can have more happiness.

Even from a very early age, I knew I didn't want to miss out on anything life had to offer just because it might be considered dangerous.

What I try to do probably doesn't come out. What I've worked out what I do - I might not be right - is to do something very personal, and then suddenly I look at it, up in the air. I blow it up and look at it and then I come down again - a better man.

Sir RAY DAVIS

he turns 76 today

Since 2015, the thread had accumulated some 50,000 'views' but members' interest was dwindling, so I stopped the daily posts.

Nobody seemed to miss it !
