I thought a few 'spares' might come in handy...

Sadly, it seems to me that Australia seems to be following the sometimes negative culture of some factions in The States, rather than our roots in the UK.
Biased media, too much corruption, a lot of people have lost their manners, the media is dumbing us down, TV shows help this dumbing down, too many workmen will rip anyone off if they can. I have noticed, as well as a lot of other people, this change in the last 20 years, in my State, anyway.
I feel that some others involved in the Administration in The States and here, also do not need free passes for their behaviour (the UK too).
Sorry to hear that.
In the UK, we need a leader & a government who/which is not 'in hock' to the establishment, big business & the ultra-rich & powerful.
We need Jeremy Corbyn !
What he lacks in 'charisma' he makes up for in honesty, forthrightness & basic decency...

He certainly isn't charismatic, he is dishonest, he's severely lacking in decency.
In fact the only decent thing he can do now is disappear out of our lives never to be heard of again.

You've just agreed with me on the 'charisma' front !
The rest of your reply is a better fit for Boris Johnson !

Yes, I did agree with you on the charisma front, which is why I said he certainly isn’t charismatic. Johnson certainly hasn’t covered himself in glory over the years, and I don’t fully trust him, but I trust him far more than I do Corbyn.
Anyway, I’m off to sleep now, happy and far more optimistic about the future.
