We could see a mass exodus of disgruntled young british folks move out here as a result.

Mister Moon was spot on in his opening post. When you take away people's voice and appoint fat cat bureaucrats and they're just lining their pockets without real understanding of what the hell's going on at the best of times, when your elected officials pat you on the head like little children and don't do what you was promised and have elected them to do, when they tell you what to think and how to think and what to say, how to say it whether you agree with it or not, then this leads to a resentment.

What we need is a Prime Minister leading a government which is not:

In the pockets of wealthy party donors.

In the pockets of big business.

Cosied up too comfortably with the big banks.

Too eager to inflict austerity on the less well off, while giving away huge tax cuts to the ultra rich.

Too involved in presentation & spin over substance.

What we need is Jeremy Corbyn leading a Labour government !

If he can assemble a loyal team around himself [which he is doing] & he has the backing of the majority of party members [which he has]
I reckon he has the potential to appeal to a large proportion of the electorate [fed up with the things I listed above].

The 'Blairites' said he was toxic at the ballot box, but local council & London Mayoral elections, which have taken place since he became leader, have shown that is a fallacy as the Labour vote held up well !

Traditional Labour voters voting for 'out' in the EU election wasn't an 'anti-Corbyn' movement, even if the tabloid press tried to paint it as such.

They must know something.

However, both my daughters voted leave without any influence from me. A couple of my ancient friends voted leave. A couple of my ancient friends voted remain. My old mum voted remain. We all heard the debates, read the blurb, all was speculation anyway, and we voted using our brains.

It's the Blairites who are going.

And they are being replaced by some real socialists !

Re-reading the posts here from last year was interesting !

We now have the Irish Border problem, the Divorce Bill, Gibraltar, serious doubts regarding trade deals & general uncertainty about the future.

What we need is a party leader who will have the nerve to stand up & announce:

"It's in the best interests of the UK, & its people, for us to forget 'Brexit' & stay in the EU !"

Is there one up to the task ?

I wish there was Colin.
Brexit is a shambles and people are starting to realise it.

Now we know the truth, that's all of us, now we all know after the vote what the real truth is, i wonder what the result would be if we voted again now.
Maybe we need someone to stand up and ask the voters if they want a truthful campaign this time and the chance to give a second opinion.

Brentrance!!!! Bremain!!

Not a chance. The sooner we're out the better.
