I have a question if someone can answer it I would be grateful... Colonel Snow posted script pictures on page 1 and I notice on a couple a reference to Doubles: Memphis, on two of the sheets .. Now I don't want to assume that they mean Elvis.. but do they mean Elvis? No one else has asked the question so either I'm the only one who doesn't know or no-one spotted it.. I'm sure the latter isn't true. Thanks in advance
Jay

Memphis was Elvis and yes, they used doubles for those shots in Germany.

During filming in august 1959 in Germany a double for Elvis was used for external shooting.
The double was filmed on distance; the internal shooting (with Elvis) was during april/may 1960 in the Paramount studio.

Thank you for that ... it seems rather strange that they used the name Memphis rather than the character name as they did with all the others. I appreciate your time
Jay

no doubt I will have more questions in other posts too .... stand by !

Maybe it was pointed out in October 2017 but the photo is not here in this chapter; I don't search the whole forum for double postings. That's a job for the moderator.
