Thanks Colin, were not Elvis and James friends, though?

There was also a photo on Facebook with Elvis and James' mother, Elvis had his arm around her.

James Dean's mother died from cancer in July, 1940.

Maybe you are thinking of Nick Adam's mother ?

There is no record of Elvis & Jimmy ever meeting.

Yvonne Fedderson (born Yvonne Glee Lime on April 7th, 1935) is an American philanthropist and retired actress.
She was married to producer Don Fedderson from 1969 until his death in 1994.

She appeared in many films & TV shows from 1956 to 1968.

It's stretching the definition of a 'co-star' but In 1957, she had a small role in Elvis' Loving You:

Below: Here Yvonne is seen with Jana Lund in Loving You - the two are often mistaken for each other.
For info, Jana Lund died on July 20, 1991 (age 57).
That's Yvonne on the right of the pic:

She visited Elvis at Graceland on 19th April, 1957 & some of the photos have become well-known:

Going back to Yvonne Lime, a photo was up for grabs on ebay described as 'Yvonne Lime & Elvis Presley in "Loving You"'

After I contacted the seller, pointing out that it was, in fact, Jana Lund, I got this reply:

Yes, that's Jana.

Another one I have found in my laptop, from the making of "Loving You" (sorry about the watermark) :

Mini answer :

Originally the Hope Lange character died from the carbon monoxide poisoning - but they decided that was too brutal, let her live and see
Glenn off at the 'railway station'.

Yes, after some adverse reactions to the test showings, where Irene Sperry [Hope Lange] commits suicide & Betty Lee Parsons [Millie Perkins] sees him off on the train to college, they re-shot the ending so that Miss Sperry lives & sees him off herself, which meant the original scene ended up on the cutting room floor...

Well done, STEVE MORSE !
