Hi there, Elvis trivia friends.
Here's an interesting one.
Years later, two of the three leading ladies from Elvis' 1961 movie 'Wild In The Country' went on to have a somewhat similar, further link to Elvis.
Name that link.

It was Heartbreak Hotel !

The answer to the question being, both Tuesday Weld and Millie Perkins went on to star in productions which featured another actor portraying Elvis.
Millie of course portrayed Gladys in the 1990 TV show, 'Elvis'.

I couldn't find any connection that pre-dates Wild in the Country, but I did turn up this bit of odd trivia:
According to author Lee Cotten, two co-stars from the Wild in the Country film, Gary Lockwood & Tuesday Weld were later married to each other !
Oddly, Wikipedia has her married three times, but never to Gary !
How strange !
Tuesday & Gary did star together in the 1961 re-make of Bus Stop:

That's interesting. Lockwood's Wikipedia page says he married twice, and never to her !
Anyway, here's the early connection between Elvis and Tuesday. She did her movie debut in 1956, when she was only 13, starring in "Rock Rock Rock", the second of the five Alan Freed-related movies. This film featured memorable appearances by Chuck Berry, The Johnny Burnette Trio, The Moonglows, Frankie Lymon & The Teenagers, and others.
This is link to the entire movie, but I have selected the specific scene where you can check out that "link" just by clicking :

Mister Moon wrote:Yes, but I wanted you guys to see the context of the reference, not just Tuesday saying "Elvis Presley"...
