In the current Elvis book market it's a bargain.
I've seen some of the documents used inside this book in person, in fact I helped enhance a couple of faded ones so they could be published!
I've yet to see a copy in person and it may be a while, but the book launch will be at Jon Daly's Elvis convention on EP Blvd for anyone who's in Memphis who's interested.
I love the airplane ticket for Elvis .... that's all I'll say as not to spoil the fun.

Here's an interesting one.
The red tiles at the Meditation Garden being removed to make a safer flooring for visitors when Elvis and his mother are brought back to Graceland.
That's right, the concrete floor in the garden was never set foot on by Elvis, it came after him.

Just finished reading ELVIS, Safe and Sound by Dick Grob and here are my random thoughts.

Love the cover and the paper quality ( I like good paper quality, what can I say) for those of us who like visual documentation and not just words, this book fits the bill.

Also for all you curious fans, there's a look into the behind the scenes think tank that went on daily and you will appreciate all that went into having a smooth operation when it came to tours, Vegas etc. (and frankly even just day to day events) also some never published photos which is ALWAYS a treat! I could never keep the tours straight so it's nice to have accounting of those also. That's my two cents - I'm not good at writing reviews but I think this book will be well received because it's unique in what it offers; i.e. Documentation
