I recently saw the 1945 movie (a Hal Wallis production !), by total chance. Just beautiful. Starring the great Joseph Cotten and Jennifer Jones.

I haven't found the original instrumental version (which can be heard during the opening credits and during the movie) online, but this recut is a very good approximation :

It's a beautiful song. My two faves are the Ketty Lester version and this by Beverley Skeete who sang it with Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings, which has George Harrison on guitar.
