Elvis's Portrayal in Movies & TV!

Postby ElvisMickeyMouse » Sat Jun 16, 2018 6:17 pm

Happy Saturday Phoenix Forum Friends,

Hope y'all get a kick out of this... I think Elvis would!

https://youtu.be/a6zBafnH7mg

P.S. With thousands of impersonators out there wouldn't you think they could find more believable Elvis's?

I'm not impressed by all those impersonators and fake stories; I go for the real Elvis.

Interesting thanks. No one has really got him. They missed BubbavHo Tep, one of my favourites

It is a culmination of horribleness. Elvis deserved more than this.

I always liked Michael ST. Gerard as Elvis he sure looks the most like Elvis. And he was also the star of the short lived TV show Elvis from the early 1990s.
And the cool thing is Michael ST. Gerard quit show business and went into the ministry, woohoo!

The guy driving in the pink caddy, in the Movie Hound Dog is an Elvis tribute artist named Ryan Pelton. When Ryan was younger he really did look more like Elvis. Check him out when he was on the Weakest Link tv show (its on youtube) where he went head to head and battled other ETAs.

I agree, Vegan, Ryan is closer to Elvis in looks, generally speaking, in comparison to other ETA's, thank you.

In my view, the other ETA's were quite bad with their look, baaaaaaddddddd lol

Ryan's mouth set reminded me of Lady Diana's mouth set.

Here is one no one really mentions. An episode of the Twilight Zone about Elvis called The Once and Future King staring Jeff Yagher as Elvis. Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f6vdsmrNerI

Now you are talking! "Twilight Zone" and Elvis, lol That show scared the heck out of me :D

(I loved that scratchy old series, that was hard to physically watch, due to the quality of the actual film).

I am going to watch :D Thank you.

See a photo of Ryan as Elvis singing with Celine, on American Idol this is what the crowd saw https://s3.amazonaws.com/gigsalad_media ... 495037.jpg

Here is what people watching TV saw when they created a digital Elvis for American Idol https://youtu.be/xax0TyRVMWo

Thank you, Vegan, it is good to watch this vision again.

The first time I saw the digital creation of Elvis, it felt surreal and sad, too.

It is good that such a wonderful tribute was made.
