Home, Home On The Range

Postby WalterHaleJnr » Tue Sep 26, 2017 10:22 pm

A devout Christian cowboy lost his favourite Holy Bible while he was mending fences out on the range.
He was absolutely beside himself. He had held that bible dear to his heart since being a little boy and in spite of riding day and night in an endless search for the good book he was sadly unable to locate it. His life it seemed had suddenly lost a sense of purpose.
Three weeks later, a donkey walked up to him carrying the bible in its mouth.
The cowboy couldn't believe his eyes.
He took the precious book out of the donkey's mouth, raised his eyes heavenward and exclaimed, "It's a miracle!"
"Not really," said the donkey.
"Your name is written inside the cover." :D
